The other, the artist, is one rooted by their talent. Artists are not confined by clichés, format or figure. Their one and only law is to be a slave to passion and talent.

Alexa Prisco

Alexa Prisco was not taught what is visually pleasing-- its something she simply just knows. Daughter of Betsy Brown, world famous artist and Peter Prisco, noted Jazz guitarist -- Alexa grew up in an environment that not only catered to, but demanded the stimulation of her talent and imagination. She has been painting and drawing for her entire life. Even as a child the tiny fairy was giving makeovers to any with a clean face. As a dancer of fifteen years, Alexa was constantly doing theatre and light responsive makeup-- ensuring that her and all her team members had not only flawless performances...but faces to match.

Mom and baby Alexa There is a sense, in any genre of talent, where the master and its piece are lost in time. The piece enslaves the master and so to does the master to its creation. Both are graceless until they complete one another.

In that focus-- Alexa is personally and internally commanded to bring a face to its absolute saturation of potential.

It is not simply a "makeover"-- it is a creation and a true representation of the curves and natural elegance of each bare face she touches.

Katia

Katia has been working with Alexa for close to three years. She is our Senior Artist and has truly embraced the art of fusing her extraordinary talent with a fully developed understanding of the brides needs. Her artistry, matched with a deep knowledge of just how integral a bride’s needs are, ensures that the bride will not only feel 110% confident on the wedding day, but pampered throughout the entire process beforehand. Customer service is an understatement.

Alexa was absolutely floored with Katia's sheer passion and desire to take her makeup artistry career to the next level. Alexa and Katia have developed a strong bond throughout the years that only strengthens Katia’s beyond integral role in The Glam Fairy team. Katia gives "team player" a new meaning-- her capacity to work not only with The Glam Fairies but with her clients makes anyone feel like they have known her for years.

Her “secret” so to speak is taking whatever vision the bride has for her wedding day and using that with her extraordinary understanding of lighting, airbrush technology, and a variety of tech makeup to make that vision a reality. Incorporating Alexa's signature techniques and methods-- Katia has a trademark 'glow' that graces each face she touches.

Alexa and Mandy are constantly blown away with just how much Katia has grown as an artist, a business woman, and a friend-- all while maintaining and never losing touch of the most kind hearted, easy to be around sweetest personality in the world.
